Triplett, Lumsden Lead Way at the Prestige at PGA WEST

LA QUINTA, Calif. — Northwestern again took advantage of the back nine at the Greg Norman Course at PGA WEST on Wednesday, finishing strong to land at sixth overall in the Prestige.

Sam Triplett and Ryan Lumsden both finished at 1-over over the 36-hole tournament (round one was cancelled due to high winds). Lumsden was even in the final round; Triplett shot 5-over.
Everton Hawkins rebounded nicely in the last day of competition, carding a round of 1-under par to finish tied for 21st at 3-over overall. Dylan Wu was the final Wildcat in the top-30, finishing in 28th place.
Eric McIntosh was 6-over on Wednesday, finishing tied for 73rd (+14).
No. 2 Oklahoma State won the team championship at the event, while Pepperdine's Clay Feagler was the individual titlist at 7-under.
Chicago's Big Ten Team will take a week off and then compete at the prestigious Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nevada, from March 5-7.
