Men’s Golf Readies for Big Ten Championships

EVANSTON (April 30, 2026) – With the regular season in the rearview mirror, Northwestern men's golf sets their sights on the postseason, taking on the Big Ten Championships at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon.
The three-day event runs from Friday to Sunday, with all three rounds set to get underway off holes one and 10 beginning at 11:30 a.m. CT.
The Field
Northwestern joins the rest of the Big Ten Conference for the championships, competing against Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, USC, UCLA, Washington and Wisconsin.
The Leaderboard
The Wildcats will be teeing it up at the par-72, 7,015-yard Witch Hollow Course at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, where Tiger Woods won his unprecedented third consecutive U.S. Amateur Championship in 1996. Live scoring across all three rounds can be found on Scoreboard, with the final round being broadcasted to Big Ten Network beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT.

Monty Holcombe picked up his highest finish of the season in 17th, while Daniel Svärd collected his team-leading ninth top-25 finish in 22nd at the Hoosier Collegiate in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Wildcats placed in seventh as a team with a 54-hole score of 896 (292-293-305).
