ROSEMONT, Ill. (May 6, 2026) – Northwestern men's golf has earned three Big Ten Conference postseason honors, the Conference announced Wednesday. Senior Daniel Svärd was named to the All-Big Ten First Team for the third consecutive year, with redshirt-sophomore Rowan Sullivan being tabbed to the All-Big Ten Second Team and Jeremy Chen receiving the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award for the second consecutive year.

Svärd paced the Wildcats with three top-5 finishes on the season, including a runner-up finish at the Windon Memorial Classic. There, the two-time Big Ten individual champion opened play with a 6-under 66 in his first round to set a new career low. Svärd was instrumental in the Wildcats' spring-opening win at the Gantner Cup, with his pairings winning their matches by margins of 6&5 and 4&3 respectively.

Sullivan collected four top-10 finishes in his debut season in Evanston, picking up his highest finish at the Colleton River Collegiate, where he placed in a share of third in his home state of South Carolina.

Chen was named Northwestern's recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, which is given to student-athletes with distinguished sportsmanship, ethical behavior, academic standing, and good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.

The Wildcats await the results of the NCAA Selection Show, where the field for the upcoming NCAA Regionals will be announced live on Golf Channel beginning at 1 p.m. CT.
