Wu, Jamieson Finish Among Top 20 at the Goodwin

STANFORD, Calif. - Northwestern concluded play at The 2016 Goodwin on Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course, wrapping up its Spring Break trip with a Top-8 finish in the 26-team field finishing above No. 1 USC.
The Wildcats shot a final round of 5-over 285 to card a 54-hole score of 14-over 854 (286-283-285), three strokes better than No. 1 USC. NU was four strokes back of seventh-place Pepperdine and six strokes behind a fifth-place tie between Oregon and Stanford (B).
UC Davis claimed the team title at 13-under 827, 10 strokes ahead of second-place UNLV.
Sophomore Dylan Wu paced the Wildcats for his best career finish at the Goodwin, shooting 3-under 67 in the final round. Wu finished 13th overall in the field at 1-over 211 (70-74-67). Senior Josh Jamieson finished among the fields top 20 at 2-over 212 (74-67-71) to sit 17th overall.
Chicago's Big Ten Team returns to action on April 9 for the Kepler Invitational, hosted by Ohio State.
