Andrew Whalen Paces 'Cats in SW Jones Invitational Finale

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - Northwestern closed out its winter tournament schedule with a 10^th place finish at the Southwestern Jones Invitational. The Wildcats shot 26-over 890 during the three-day, 54-hole tournament at the par-72, 6,992-yard North Ranch Country Club.

Andrew Whalen paced the Wildcats for the second-straight tournament and finished 13^th overall in the individual standings. The senior shot his best round on the final day and carded a 2-under 70 to lead the 'Cats through the final 18 holes.

Chicago's Big Ten Team will have a few weeks off before returning to action in Palo Alto, Calif., for The Goodwin – a three-day tournament hosted by Stanford. The 'Cats will tee off on March 24.
