EVANSTON, Ill. – Head women's soccer coach Michael Moynihan announced Wednesday the first two members of the Class of 2025,Β who will join the Wildcats ahead of the 2021-22 academic year.Β

The two members of what is expected to be a six-person class are Kelsey Kwon and Emma Phillips.Β

"While we cannot announce our full classΒ due to difficulties associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, Emma and Kelsey are both part of aΒ strong recruiting class that will complement our returning players well," Moynihan said. "Emma is an experienced defender that has participated in US Youth National Camps – she is very strong in the air andΒ brings a commanding presence that should help her grow into a leader. Kelsey is a creative attacking midfielderΒ that excels technically and posseses great vision. I believe she can create chances at a productive rate to help us be even more dangerous in the final third."
