Triplett Paces 'Cats in Final Round of Southern Highlands Collegiate

LAS VEGAS — Four birdies in the final nine holes of the Southern Highlands Collegiate lifted senior Sam Triplett to a team-best finish on Wednesday.
Triplett, who was 2-under overall in his final round, finished the tournament tied for 20th at 2-over, which led the Wildcats at the par-72 Southern Highlands.
Junior Ryan Lumsden made eagle on hole three as a part of his 5-over day. He finished tied for 45th at 6-over.
Following Lumsden were senior Dylan Wu (T48, +7), sophomore Everton Hawkins (T66, +11), and first year Eric McIntosh (80, +28).
Chicago's Big Ten Team finished in 14th place.
The Wildcats are back in action on March 29-31 at The Goodwin in Palo Alto, California.
