Wildcats to Compete at The Goodwin in California

STANFORD, Calif. – Northwestern Men's Golf is back in action this week, traveling out west for The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford University. The tournament runs from Thursday (March 27) through Saturday (March 29) in Stanford, California. Live scoring can be found across all three days on Scoreboard.Clippd.com.
 
The Wildcats are set to begin play on Thursday afternoon, with tee times opening at 2:00 p.m. CT. The tournament consists of 54 holes of competition with three rounds of 18 holes played each day under the play five, keep four format. All three rounds begin with a staggered start from holes 1 and 10 at both 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. CT.
 
The Field
The 'Cats take part in a 30-team field that includes host-school Stanford, #13 Utah, #15 UCLA, #22 Pepperdine, Arkansas at Little Rock, Brigham Young, Cal, California Polytechnic State, California State Long Beach, Clemson, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Georgia, Howard, Lipscomb, Loyola Maryland, Loyola Marymount, Oregon, Nevada, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, SMU, TCU, UC Davis, Washington, Washington State and Wofford. The 'Cats last played The Goodwin in 2021-22.
 
The Course
The Goodwin heads back to Stanford for the first time since 2022 after a two-year stint at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. This season, teams will compete on the par-70, 6,742-yard course that is nearing its 100th year of existence. One of nearly 30 college courses in the country, the Stanford Golf Course has been home to numerous prestigious tournaments and offers stunning views of the Bay Area.
