‘Cats host Windon Memorial Classic at Conway Farms Golf Club, September 29-30

EVANSTON, Ill. (August 15, 2024) – After leading the program to its first Big Ten Conference title since 2006 last season, Northwestern University head men's golf coach David Inglis released the Wildcats' schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 campaign on Thursday.  Inglis' group will see action in 10 events during the regular season before beginning postseason play.

Northwestern opens the regular season by jetting out to the Pacific Northwest for the Sahalee Players Championship, September 7-8, in Sammamish, Wash.  After returning to play in nearby Olympia Fields, Ill. at the Fighting Illini Invitational, September 20-22, the 'Cats will highlight an impressive 16-team field as they host the Windon Memorial Classic, set for September 29-30 at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Ill.

Two weeks after hosting their annual fall event, Northwestern will venture to St. Andrews, Scotland to compete in the St. Andrews Links Collegiate, October 14-16.  The Wildcats will join the University of St. Andrews, Arizona, and Howard at the event, which will see its final round played on the historic Old Course at St. Andrews.  After returning stateside, Northwestern will close its fall slate at The Clerico, October 28-29, in Tulsa, Okla.

After kicking off the spring portion of its schedule with The Match at Mountain Lake on February 1 in Lake Wales, Fla., the 'Cats head west to La Quinta, Calif. to compete at The Prestige at PGA West, February 17-19.

A return trip to Florida opens the Wildcats' March docket, as Northwestern visits Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. for The Hayt, March 9-11.  The 'Cats find themselves back out on the West Coast at the end of the month, March 27-29, competing at The Goodwin in Palo Alto, Calif.  Inglis' team will make final preparations for the postseason when it sees action at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, April 14-15, in Charlottesville, Va.

Northwestern sets out to defend its Big Ten title when the league convenes on Baltimore, Md. for the 2025 Big Ten Men's Golf Championships, April 25-27.

NCAA Regionals are schedule for May 12-14, while the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa will again play host to the NCAA Men's Golf Championships, May 23-28.

Inglis, the reigning Big Ten Coach of the Year, returns a strong core of seven letterwinners from last season, a group that includes three All-Big Ten Conference selections in Cameron Adam, Daniel Svärd, and Ethan Tseng.  Svärd became just the second two-time individual conference champion in program history this past season.  Inglis is also set to welcome a pair of newcomers in graduate transfer Aidan Kramer and first-year Mark Gazi
