Purdue leads the all-time series, 52-33, however Northwestern has won 6 of the last 8 games between the programs, including each of the last five games played in West Lafayette (longest streak at Purdue in program history). The five wins at Ross-Ade Stadium are the 2nd most for Pat Fitzgerald in any single road venue (behind Kinnick Stadium, 6).
 - Adetomiwa Adebawore accepted an invite to the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl this past week. Adebawore has registered 27 pressures and 23 run stops this season through his first 10 games, per PFF, he has recorded four pressures in three of his last four games. Adebawore ranks 11th among all Big Ten edge defenders with a 80.6 pass rush grade this season, his 27 pressures are tied for 11th most in the Big Ten, also is tied for 5th in the conference with 20 hurries this season. The Athletic's Bruce Feldman selected Adebawore to his annual "Freak List," spotlighting 100 players in college football displaying extraordinarily unique physical abilities. Notable accolades for Adebawore include: 30 bench press reps (225 lbs), 37.5" vertical leap, 20-yd shuffle time of 4.05.

WR Malik Washington leads the Wildcats with 55 receptions and 616 receiving yards on the year. Per PFF, Washington has dropped only one pass on 56 targets this season, good for a 1.8% drop rate. That trails only Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. among qualifying Big Ten receivers in drop rate. With 55 receptions for Washington and 50 receptions for Evan Hull, this marks the !rst time since 2000 in which two different Northwestern pass catchers have hauled in 50+ passes through the Wildcats' first 10 games of the season. Entering Saturday, Northwestern and Ohio State are the only two Big Ten schools with multiple players having 50+ receptions on the year.
