‘Cats Host Two Top-40 teams for Home Finale

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern will host #2 Ohio State and #35 Penn State in a Big Ten doubleheader for their final two home matches of the season.
 
The Wildcats are coming off of a stretch of two road games where they split the weekend at Michigan and Michigan State. The 'Cats fell to #20 Michigan 5-2 and came back to best Michigan State 5-2. 
 
Chicago's Big Ten team will take on Ohio State Friday afternoon at 6 pm at the Combe Tennis Center. The Buckeyes are currently on a six-match win streak, most recently defeating Iowa and Nebraska 6-1, 4-1 respectively. OSU is current 22-2 on the season and 7-0 in conference play.
 
The Wildcats will be back  at Combe Tennis Center Sunday afternoon to take on #35 Penn State at noon. The Nittany Lions have a 15-6 record in dual play (5-2 B1G), most recently defeating Nebraska 4-3.  
 
At the start of Sunday's match, Northwestern Athletics will honor the three seniors, Ben Vandixhorn, Jason Seidman and Michael Lorenzini before the start of doubles play.
