'Cats Ready for Day Two of Prestige

LA QUINTA, Calif. – The Northwestern men's golf team completed day one of The Prestige at PGA West Monday afternoon. Chicago's Big Ten team finished round one with a score of 301 to tie for 13th.
Ryan Lumsden made birdies on three holes as a part of his 3-over day to tie for 35th. Following Lumsden is junior Everton Hawkins (T42, +4), while both first-year David Nyfjäll and sophomore Eric McIntosh tie for 49th (+5).
Top-ranked Oklahoma State leads the tournament at 6-under par followed by No. 16 LSU (-5) and UCLA (+2).
Northwestern is set to tee off for round two, Tuesday, Feb.19 at 9:40 a.m. CT. A complete list of pairings can be found here.
