Triplett Logs Another Strong Round at The Goodwin

SAN FRANCISCO — Sam Triplett maintained his strong play in day two of The Goodwin at TPC Harding Park, carding a 1-under 70 to sit 6-under with one round left to play to sit at T5.
Triplett is chasing his best 54-hole score in his Wildcat career, a 208 at Bridgestone Golf Collegiate (Oct. 30-31, 2017).
Everton Hawkins has the next-best 36-hole score for NU, sitting at even par (T27).
The Wildcats are tied for seventh place at even-par as a team.
Despite back-to-back-to-back birdies to start the back nine, Ryan Lumsden (T57) finished Friday's round at 1-over and is 3-over through two days. Dylan Wu (+5; T70) and Pete Griffith (+7; T91) round out the Wildcats starting five. Individual entry Harrison Murphy is +13 and at T125.
The NU starting five will tee off starting at 2 p.m. CT in the final round of The Goodwin.
