EVANSTON, Ill. — Fresh off his second-career individual title, senior Ryan Lumsden won his second-straight Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor, the Conference announced Wednesday.

Lumsden carded a final-round 67 (-5) to earn medalist honors at the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills, finishing with an 8-under 54-hole tally. The London, England, native helped lift the Wildcats to a team championship in their second event of the season.

For Lumsden, it was his eighth-career top-five finish. He recorded 44 of 54 holes at or below par on the weekend, highlighted by 16 birdies and an eagle.

It is the fourth such honor for Lumsden. Bryan Baumgarten of Illinois also shared the honors this week.

Northwestern is back in action on October 14-15 at the Chatham Hills Collegiate in Westfield, Indiana.
