EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern and Penn State square off for the second time this season Saturday when the teams meet up at Allstate Arena in Rosemont. Tip time is set for 1 p.m.

The Wildcats are coming off a narrow 71-65 loss to 22nd-ranked Ohio State on Wednesday. Vic Law led five Northwestern players in double figures with 14 points.
Penn State pulled away late for a 78-63 win in this season's first meeting between the teams Jan. 5 in University Park. Bryant McIntosh returned from injury to lead the Wildcats with 18 points. The loss snapped a four-game road winning streak at Penn State for Northwestern.
McIntosh is one of only four players in league history to post 1,550 points and 650 assists in a career, joining Michigan's Gary Grant as well as Dee Brown and Demetri McCamey of Illinois. McIntosh enters Saturday's game with 1,586 career points (6th in NU history) and 660 assists (1st in NU history).
Northwestern has won six of its last 10 meetings with Penn State dating back to the 2011-12 season. The Wildcats have a 3-3 record vs. the Nittany Lions under head coach Chris Collins.
Following Saturday's contest, Northwestern plays five of its next six games on the road.
Scouting Penn State
Penn State (13-7, 3-4 B1G) is coming off a 95-84 home loss in overtime to Minnesota on Tuesday. Tony Carr led the Nittany Lions with 33 points in the contest and paces the team with an average of 19.6 points per game, ranking him second in the Big Ten. Lamar Stevens contributes 15.7 points per contest while Mike Watkins is first in the conference in field goal percentage (.704) and second in rebounding average (10.0).
