The 14th-annual event is a two-day tournament, taking place on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16. Kampen is a par-72, 7,465-yard course and is a 2017 NCAA Regional site.

The Wildcats will be sending out a lineup of Dylan Wu, Ryan Lumsden, Andrew Whalen, Everton Hawkins, and Conor Richardson. Sam Triplett will be participating as an individual.

The field features some of the top teams in collegiate golf per Golfstat, including Kent State (No. 12), UNLV (No. 16), and Purdue (No. 38). The 'Cats are ranked 34th overall.

Wu, the Wildcats' leading scorer this season, also owns the ninth-lowest scoring average in the nation (69.96). He was awarded the Big Ten Golfer of the Week nod on April 5 after shooting 66-70-69 (-7) at Northwestern's most recent tournament, a second-place performance at the Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay.

Last year, Wu shot 70-69-72 (-5) to notch a third-place finish while the 'Cats took a third-place team finish with a three-under 861. The Medford, Oregon, native's finish is tied for the best by a Wildcat in the Boilermaker Invitational.

Lumsden looks to build off of recent success at the Kampen Course this weekend. Last year, he carded a final-round 67 at the 2016 Boilermaker Invitational to finish tied for 10th in his best performance of the season. This year, the London, England, native is the second-lowest scorer for the #B1GCats (71.7).

Triplett is playing as an individual for the third time this season. In the Wright State Invitational, April 3-4, he carded a one-under 70 and an even 71 in the final two rounds to notch a ninth-place tie.

This is the ninth time that the men's golf team has participated in the Boilermaker Invitational, and the fourth-consecutive year.

Saturday morning will have a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. CT and feature two rounds. Sunday will have the final 18 holes.
