EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern closes out the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 29 with a trip to University Park, Pennsylvania, to face Penn State. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT.

Sunday's contest against Penn State will decide the No. 7 seed for the Big Ten tournament. Both teams own a 1-6-0 mark in league action.

Chicago's Big Ten Team enters the match having won four of its last five, with its only loss coming against No. 7 Michigan State. In the 'Cats last two victories, Tommy Katsiyiannis has scored a combined three goals. The rookie leads the team with four goals on the season and his eight total points are tied for the team lead with Camden Buescher (2g, 4a) and Mac Mazzola (3g, 2a).

The Wildcats defeated Loyola on Tuesday afternoon, 2-1, in a match that took double overtime. Katsiyiannis scored the game-winner in the 104th minute when Mazzola set him up on a counter attack.

Penn State enters the match coming off a 2-1 win over James Madison on Wednesday. The victory gave the Nittany Lions a mark of 4-9-2 overall.

Northwestern has picked up three consecutive victories over the Nittany Lions, including a 1-0 win in 2016 on senior night at Martin Stadium. A first-half goal from Jeffery Hopson that was assisted by Riley Kelliher proved to be the difference in the contest.

Loser of Sunday's contest will face off with Rutgers in the No. 8/9 play-in game of the Big Ten tournament.
