EVANSTON, Ill. — After opening the season with a pair of shutout victories at the James Madison Tournament last weekend (Aug. 19-21), No. 25 Northwestern will conclude a four-game road swing with matches against DePaul on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. CT and Kentucky on Sunday, Aug. 28 at noon CT.

Both matches will be streamed online. Fans can follow the contest against the Blue Demons here, while the game versus Kentucky will be streamed the on the SEC Network/ESPN3.

Northwestern (2-0-0) began the season with a 1-0 overtime winner against Virginia Commonwealth behind Brenna Lovera's game-winning goal in the 98th minute. The Wildcats' offense then turned it on in Sunday's 3-0 win over host-JMU with Lovera, Maddy Lucas and Grace Orndorff all scoring second-half goals.

Defense was the theme for the weekend as Northwestern kept both opponents off of the scoreboard. Junior goalie Lauren Clem notched her 23rd and 24th career shutouts in the victories and now is one shutout shy of setting a program record.

The hot start also propelled the 'Cats into the national rankings. The club will head into its matches against DePaul and Kentucky ranked No. 25 in the latest NSCAA Coaches Poll.

DePaul (0-0-1) opened its season by playing Fordham to a 1-1 draw on Aug. 19. The Blue Demons went 12-4-4 last season and were led by 2015 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Franny Cerny, who notched six goals and five assists in her first campaign.

Northwestern and DePaul have not met in the regular season since 2010.

Kentucky (0-1-1) failed to find the win column in the season's opening weekend, playing Long Beach State (Aug. 19) to a 1-1 draw and falling to Pepperdine (Aug. 21), 3-0. Kentucky will host USF on Thursday, Aug. 25, before welcoming Northwestern on Sunday.

Following the contests against DePaul and Kentucky, Northwestern will return to Evanston for its home opener against Indiana State at the new Martin Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
