#B1GCats Conclude Regular-Season at The Boilermaker

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern's final regular-season tournament of the 2015-16 season kicks off on Saturday, April 16, at The Boilermaker, hosted by Purdue at its home Kampen Course in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The difficult Kampen Course -- which will serve as a host for a 2017 NCAA Regional as well as the 2018 NCAA National Championship -- will play to a 7,465-yard, par-72 layout for this tournament. Live results for The Boilermaker will be provided by BirdieFire.com.
Following the event, the Wildcats will enter postseason play at the 2016 Big Ten Championships, beginning April 22.

FORMAT
There will be a shotgun start both days, starting at 8:45 a.m. ET both days. Saturday's (April 16) action will be 36 holes continuous play with the final 18 holes will be on Sunday (April 17).
LAST TIME OUT
One round after struggling to a 15th-place opening score at the 16-team Kepler Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State at The Scarlet Course, the Wildcats improved by 24 strokes in Sunday's final round at the weather-shortened event, besting the entire field for the day by seven shots and jumping all the way up into a tie for ninth as a team.
While former Wildcat Matthew Fitzpatrick was firing the best final round score at The Masters at Augusta National Sunday (5-under 67), his old teammates were following the same script in Columbus with a 6-over 290. The score allowed Northwestern to move into a tie with Liberty for ninth in the event at 36-over 604 (314-290).
