Eric McIntosh Signs NLI to Join Wildcats

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern head coach David Inglis announced the signing of future Wildcat Eric McIntosh to a National Letter of Intent. McIntosh (Edinburgh, Scotland) will begin competition for NU in the fall of 2017.

Junior Career: Member of the U16 and U18 Scotland National team…U18 Scottish Boys Amateur Champion…Part of Scotland national team that finished 7th at the 2016 European Boys Championship and second in the 2016 Boys Home International…Finished second at the Junior Club Home International Tournament…2013 and 2015 Bruntsfield Links Junior Champion.
Personal: Born Eric Stuart McIntosh…played against Wildcat Ryan Lumsden at the 2016 Scottish Amateur Stroke Play…Also played rugby, soccer and cricket…Plans to major in Economics.
David Inglis on McIntosh: "Eric is a hard worker who has a tremendous passion for the game of golf. He will be a great addition to the team and I'm really looking forward to him joining the Northwestern Golf family next fall. He has had a terrific year including a win in the Scottish Boys Championship, representing Scotland in the European Championships and his experience in international competition will serve him well as he makes the transition to college golf."

Coach Inglis has once again done a wonderful job of utilizing his background and relationships internationally to help us sign a strong player.
