TALE OF THE TAPE

Minnesota Notes
• Jerry Kill's staff has served under him for a combined 141 years, which is the most in the nation. Eric Klein, the team's strength and conditioning coach, has been with Kill for 22 years, while associate head coach Tracy Claeys has been by his side for 21.
• Minnesota has increased its rushing production each season under Jerry Kill. The Golden Gophers are 19-3 when rushing for more than 200 yards as a team and 19-6 when an individual player rushes for more than 100 yards.
• The Minnesota defense has held 24 of its last 30 opponents, including all four this year under their season scoring average.
• The Gophers are 9-5 in their last 14 Big Ten games, which is the fourth-best mark in the conference during that span. Only Ohio State, Michigan State and Wisconsin have a better record over the last 14 Big Ten games.
