EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern travels to Columbus, Ohio, for a traditional stop in its spring schedule, the Kepler Intercollegiate hosted at OSU's Scarlet Course.
Northwestern has a strong history in this event, having captured four team titles over the years. That ranks third since the tournament's inception in 1969 behind only Ohio State and Kent State.
The 2015 edition of the Kepler features a 14-team field including seven Big Ten programs: Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State and Penn State. Teams will play 36 continuous holes Saturday beginning with a 7:30 a.m. CT/8:30 a.m. ET shotgun before tee times starting at 7 a.m. CT/8 a.m. ET for Sunday's final round.
The Scarlet Course will play to its longest 7,455-yard layout over the par-71 track. Live results for this tournament will be provided by BirdieFire.com.
The tournament represents a return to the Midwest for Northwestern during the leadup to the 2015 Big Ten Championships. Following this event, the Wildcats will play in The Boilermaker next weekend prior to the conference tournament April 24-26.
