EVANSTON, Ill. -- Looking to keep its early spring momentum rolling, Northwestern returns to the course for the third time in three weeks March 2-3 at the 30th annual Louisiana Classics hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette at Oakbourne Country Club.
Fourteen teams comprise the field for the event, which will be held over 36 holes on the opening day, Monday, March 2, before the concluding 18 holes on Tuesday, March 3. In addition to the Wildcats, fellow Big Ten school and top-ranked team in the nation Illinois is among the field.
Golfstat.com will provide live scoring while live video with commentary will be provided at holes 9 and 18 on both days of competition. Links can be found in the chart at the top of this page.
Northwestern opened the spring season with a 3-1 record at the Big Ten Match Play Championship, a tournament where the Wildcats are the most-winning program ever in the event's seven-year history. The #B1GCats then traveled west to Pepperdine's Jones Invitational last week, finishing in third place in their first stroke play outing of the season.
