EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern senior Jack Perry (Santa Barbara, Calif./Santa Barbara) has earned the third Division I PING All-Midwest Region award of his career, announced today by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Perry, a 2013 PING All-America honoree and unanimous 2014 All-Big Ten first-team choice, finished this season with a 72.05 stroke average, good for 10th-best in Northwestern program history. His career scoring average of 72.78 ranks third in NU history behind only Luke Donald and Eric Chun.

Perry recorded six top-10 finishes in 11 team stroke play events in 2013-14 including his third-career victory with a co-medalist performance at the Rod Myers Invitational in October. In addition to that win, Perry had a runner-up performance at NU's own Windon Memorial Classic in September and a third-place finish at the 2014 Big Ten Championships.

Perry also charged to a 15th-place finish among a strong field at the Puerto Rico Classic in February when he closed with a career-best, bogey-free 9-under 63. That round is tied for the second-lowest in Northwestern history.

Though his collegiate career is over, Perry returns to action June 2 in U.S. Open sectional qualifying after winning his local qualifier earlier this month at Knollwood Country Club in Lake Forest, Ill.
