Northwestern Receives GCAA All-Academic Honors

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern was named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team for the 2011-12 season, the organization announced today.
The 'Cats were recognized as an All-Academic Team for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
NU junior Nick Losole also was recently honored by the GCAA as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native is one of 16 All-America Scholar recipients during head coach Pat Goss' 16-year tenure at Northwestern. Losole, along with senior Sam Chien and sophomore Jack Perry were Academic All-Big Ten honorees in 2011-12.
