Wildcats Move Up Two Spots at CordeValle

SAN MARTIN, Calif. -- Northwestern improved its second-day standing by eight strokes at the CordeValle Collegiate and climbed into a seventh-place tie with Texas A&M on Tuesday.
Junior Andy DeKeuster (Franksville, Wis./Racine Lutheran) moved into a three-way tie for sixth place after firing a 3-under 69 for the second round. DeKeuster leads the team after two days.
Senior Kyle Moore (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) shot even par for the second time in the tournament, which put him in a ninth-place tie with seven other golfers with a total of 144 (72-72).
Dan Doyle (Rochester, Mich./Stoney Creek), Josh Dupont (Poway, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) and David Lipsky (La Canada, Calif./La Canada) are all deadlocked in 41st place at 5-over par. Lipsky is up nine spots from yesterday.
James Lee of UCLA continues to lead the field individually as he has helped his team to 5-under par and 10 strokes ahead of Stanford and USC in second place.
The final day wraps up Wednesday and live scoring is available for the tournament.
