Schedule Is Set For Camp Kenosha!

For the 10th consecutive year, Northwestern University will conduct 12 days of preseason football practice at "Camp Kenosha" -- the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wis.

The Wildcats head to Kenosha Thursday, Aug. 16 and will conduct their two-a-day sessions there until Wednesday, Aug. 29. The annual preseason scrimmage will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25.

Northwestern kicks off the 2001 season at UNLV on Sept. 7.

The following is Northwestern's practice schedule in Kenosha (Friday, Aug. 17 through Wednesday, Aug. 29). Please note that practice times are tentative and subject to change. Additionally, the coaching staff may elect to conduct a closed practice at any time.

Aug. 17 - 8:40-10:45 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 18 - 8:40-10:45 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 19 - No practice
Aug. 20 - 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 21 - 8:40-10:45 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 22 - 8:40-10:45 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 23 - 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 24 - 8:40-10:45 a.m.
Aug. 25 - Scrimmage, 1 p.m.
Aug. 26 - No practice
Aug. 27 - 8:40-10:45 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 28 - 4-6 p.m.
Aug. 29 - Practice will be closed

Directions to UW-Parkside from Chicago: Take I-94 WEST to Highway E. Go east on Highway E, approximately 4.9 miles, to Petrifying Spring Road (Highway JR). Go left on Petrifying Spring Road, approximately 200 yards, to the UW-Parkside athletic department. Football fields are located approximately 300 yards east of the athletic department.
