Men's Golf in Third Place at Cavalier Classic

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Erik Ciotti posted rounds of 71 and 68 to stand tied for eighth-place at three-under-par after two rounds of play at the Keswick Club Cavalier Classic. This is the first tournament of the season for NU, which is in third place in the team standings at five-under-par 563. North Carolina leads at 17-under followed by Maryland in second place at 13-under. The final round will take place on Sunday.

Ciotti is one of four Wildcat golfers at-or-under par after 36 holes. Luke Donald (71-70) and Danny Riskam (69-72) are tied for 12th place at one-under 141. Jess Daley (71-71) is tied for 16th place at even-par 142. Josh Habig currently stands tied for 65th at 11-over 153 (76-77).
