No. 13 Men's Golf Wins Aldila Collegiate Classic

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern sophomore Luke Donald captured his second tournament championship of the year, posting rounds of 70-69-74 to finish at three-under-par 213 and win the Aldila Collegiate Classic, hosted by San Diego State at the Carlton Oaks Country Club in Santee, Calif. Northwestern also won the team title, shooting team scores of 288-288-298 for a 54-hole total of 874. The Wildcats, ranked 13th in the nation, finished 10 strokes ahead of tournament runner-up and 11th-ranked BYU.
This is the second championship for Donald in his last three tournaments. He also captured the individual crown at Stanford's The Nelson tournament in November. Donald has finished either first or second in five of his seven tournaments this season. Three other Wildcats notched top-20 finishes as Josh Habig tied for 11th place, Jess Daley finished tied for 13th. Complete Wildcat individual results and the top 10 team finishes appear below.
Next up for the Wildcats is the Dr. Pepper Invitational, scheduled for March 26-28 in Pottsboro, Texas.
