No. 13 Men's Golf Leads Aldila Collegiate Classic

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's golf team, ranked 13th in the country, leads the Aldila Collegiate Classic by eight strokes entering Tuesday's final round. The Wildcats posted consecutive rounds of 288 on Monday for a 36-hole score of even-par 576 to lead 11th-ranked BYU (584) by eight strokes. The tournament is being played at the Carlton Oaks Country Club in Santee, Calif.

Individually, Luke Donald leads the field at five-under-par 139 (70-69). He is one of just four players to shoot under par after 36 holes and holds a four-stroke lead over his nearest competitors. Jess Daley stands in a tie for sixth place after 36 holes at one-over-par 145.

Tuesday's final round begins at 9:30 a.m. CST.
