Luke Donald Leads NCAA Championships After Round Two

EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Luke Donald fired a four-under-par 68 on Thursday to take the lead after two rounds of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships, being played at Hazeltine National Golf Course in Chaska, Minn. For the tournament, Donald stands at three-under-par 141, two strokes ahead of Arizona's Derek Gillespie and East Tennessee State's Chris Wisler. As a team, Northwestern fired a second round team score of 299 to move up into fourth place with a 36-hole total of 595, five strokes behind first place Clemson.
NU's individual results as well as team scores appear below. Only the top 15 teams, plus the top nine individuals not on those teams, advance to play in rounds three and four. The Wildcats will be paired with Georgia and Oklahoma State in Friday's third round and will tee off from 8:15-8:51 a.m. CDT.
