Northwestern softball was named the No. 9 overall seed in the 2022 NCAA Softball Tournament and will welcome Oakland, McNeese and Notre Dame to Sharon J. Drysdale Field for the Evanston Regional from May 20-22.

The double-elimination regional begins on Friday, May. 20 and will feature six or seven games, all of which will be televised on the ESPN family of networks. The four-team regional has been set, and features Northwestern, Notre Dame, McNeese and Oakland.

Parking

Parking throughout the entire weekend is complimentary in the East Lot of Ryan Field. Fans will enter the venue through the Welsh-Ryan Arena Lobby. The address for Sharon J. Drysdale Field is 1501 Central Street, Evanston, IL 60201.

Tickets

Tickets are available online in advance HERE and at the ticket office on gamedays, located at the main entrance to Welsh-Ryan Arena. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $6 for youth/seniors. Youth are considered patrons aged 17 years and younger. Senior citizens are considered patrons aged 65 years and older. All infants aged 1 year and younger receive free admission. Additionally, Northwestern University students can receive a complimentary ticket by showing their Wildcards at the ticket office on gameday – complimentary tickets courtesy of the Northwestern Athletics department.

Press Conferences

Postgame Press Conferences will be uploaded to the Evanston Regional Virtual Pressbox (link below) as they happen. Media will be able to attend post-game press conferences for all teams at the media room in Welsh-Ryan Arena, except for teams that play back-to-back games. (Between Games 4 and 5 and between Games 6 and 7)

Fan Information

Bag Policy
Ticket holders may bring bags to the games, but all bags are subject to search by gate security staff. Additionally, fans may not bring outside food or beverage or other prohibited items (mentioned below).
 
Concessions
Drysdale Field offers concessions for all home games that include a variety of food and beverage options as well as specialty items. The main concessions stand at Drysdale Field is located inside Welsh-Ryan Arena on the event level and fans may enter the arena through the doors just beyond the left field fence. Only card payments are accepted.
 
Gates Open
Gates to Drysdale Field open one hour prior to first pitch of the first game of the day. Guests can enter through the main entrance of Welsh-Ryan Arena.
 
Merchandise
NCAA merchandise is available for purchase during each game and is located in the main lobby of Welsh-Ryan Arena. Only card payments are accepted.
 
Programs
NCAA Tournament programs are digital and are available at NCAA.com, or via QR codes located on flyers around the facility.

Prohibited Items
Common items that spectators are prohibited from brining to Northwestern Athletics events include, but are not limited to: alcoholic beverages; umbrellas; noisemakers (including cowbells, musical instruments, and horns); banners, flags, or signs; video cameras, televisions, large lens cameras, tripods, or large radios; cans, glassware, thermoses, picnic baskets, ice chests, wine skins, food, drinks, or coolers.

Restrooms
Visitors to Drysdale Field may access public restrooms located in Welsh-Ryan Arena on the event level. Restrooms are handicap accessible and additional family restrooms are located on the event level as well.
