EVANSTON (February 15, 2026) – Fresh off of their spring-opening win at the Gantner Cup, Northwestern men's golf takes to the course once again in La Quinta, California, competing at the Prestige at PGA West.
The three-day 54-hole contest will take place from Monday to Wednesday, with the first round set to kick off from holes one and 10 beginning at 8:45 a.m. CT.
The Field
Northwestern joins a 24-team field that includes #15 Texas Tech, #25 Wake Forest, Clemson, Colorado, Colorado State, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Nevada, North Alabama, Oregon, Oregon State, Princeton, San Diego, SMU, Stanford, UC Davis, UNCW, Washington State and Yale.
The Leaderboard
The Wildcats are set to take on the Greg Norman Course at PGA West, with the individual tournament being held at the nearby GC At Terra Lago in Indio.

The Wildcats opened the spring slate with a third consecutive win over Michigan State at the Gantner Cup. The 'Cats opened their day with a 2-2 split in their morning foursome matches, and a 3-1 win in afternoon four-ball.
After team wins by margins of 6&5 and 4&3, Daniel Svärd was named the Big Ten Player of the Week.

Following the Prestige at PGA West, the Wildcats take on the Colleton River Collegiate, March 1-2, in Bluffton, South Carolina.
