ROSEMONT, Ill. - Wildcats Adam Cohen, Lydia Georgopoulou, Zoe Nordmann and Stuart Seymour have been named to the 2026-27 Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Swimmers and Divers to Watch lists, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Cohen, a diver from Winnipeg, Manitoba, returns for another campaign with the ‘Cats in 2026-27. The senior earned Academic All-Big Ten in 2026, and concluded his season with a strong performance at the Big Ten Championships. Competing with Ryan Augustine and Kyle Ly, the trio helped the ‘Cats to a second-place team exhibition finish. Individually, Cohen took seventh in the platform event in the conference championships, with a score of 344.0. He earned personal best scores in the 1M and 3M dives in his junior season, and punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships with qualifying scores in the zones round.
Georgopoulou, a diver from Athens, Greece, concluded her junior season as an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and CSCAA Individual Scholar All-American selection. The rising senior took seventh place in the 3M diving event with a score of 220.10 against Minnesota and Purdue, and looks to improve on her personal bests this season.
Nordmann, a swimmer from The Woodlands, Texas, tallied 12 personal-best performances last season and was one of six Wildcat women to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Punching her ticket in the 500 and 1650 Free after claiming 11th and sixth in the events, respectively, at the Big Ten Championships. The rising junior collected two first-place finishes in regular-season meets last season, and contributed to a school record 800 Free Relay mark. Nordmann also earned Academic All-Big Ten and CSCAA Individual Scholar All-American honors.
Seymour, a swimmer from Brookfield, Wisc., posted an impressive four school records in his junior season, as well as All-Big Ten Second Team honors and Big Ten Swimmer of the Week (Feb. 4, 2026). The senior had a stellar showing at the 2025-26 Big Ten Championships, setting school records in the 100 Fly prelims and in his second-place finish in the 100 Free (41.87). An Academic All-Big Ten selection and two-time NCAA Championships qualifier, Seymour will be a ‘Cat to keep an eye on for the preseason No. 16-ranked men’s team. The senior repeats as a Big Ten Swimmer to Watch, also named to the list last season.
Northwestern swimming and diving will open up its 2026-27 season slate against Miami (OH) on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m. CT inside Norris Aquatics Center.
