‘Cats to Compete in Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Following a runner-up finish to open the campaign at the Badger Invitational, the Northwestern women’s golf team is set to take on the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tennessee. The event will consist of 54 holes, and will be contested from Friday (Sept. 18) to Sunday (Sept. 20).

Rounds one and two will each begin with an 8:30 a.m. CT start, while Sunday’s final round will commence at 8 a.m.

The Field

The ‘Cats will round out a 15-team field consisting of host-school Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Charleston, Clemson, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Long Beach State, Louisville, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Purdue and Western Kentucky.

Badger Invitational

Ashley Yun was named the Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week following a third-place finish at the Badger Invitational.

Last Time Out

The Wildcats finished the Badger Invitational as one of two teams to come in at par or better, coming in second at 3 under par. Ashley Yun paced the ‘Cats with a third-place finish at 3 under, earning Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors in the process.

Joining Yun in the top 10 were Megan Meng and Rebecca Wang, with the latter making her collegiate debut. The pair finished in a share of eighth place at 1 over.

Next on the Tee

Following the Mason Rudolph Championship, the Wildcats will return home to host the Windy City Collegiate Classic, October 5-6, at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Illinois.
