Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium will host the return of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) on July 10-11 for Chicago PLL & WLL Weekend. Friday’s slate is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. CT with the first of two PLL contests, before Saturday’s tripleheader begins at 1 p.m. CT featuring two PLL games and a WLL contest between the New York Charging and Maryland Charm.
Saturday’s WLL matchup will see 14 former ’Cats return home to Evanston. The New York Charging is led on the field by Northwestern legend Izzy Scane along with Emerson Bohlig, Riley Campbell, Erin Coykendall, Madison Doucette, Grace Fujinaga, Lauren Gilbert, Kendall Halpern, Sam Smith, Delaney Sweitzer and Sammy White. Charging head coach Colleen Magarity was a three-time National Champion with NU, and assistant coach Charlie Leonard served on Kelly Amonte Hiller’s staff from 2023-25. The Maryland Charm feature Jenika Cuocco returning to Northwestern Medicine Field for the first time since capturing the 2026 NCAA National Championship at home on May 24.
This weekend marks the return of PLL to Chicago, as the site hosted the league’s annual Throwback Weekend in July of last year. The weekend paid homage to legendary teams and moments from lacrosse history alongside the 2025 Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Saturday’s WLL matchup will be the first professional women’s lacrosse game featured as part of a PLL Chicago weekend.
Beyond the games, families can enjoy food trucks, live music, player autograph sessions and an interactive fan festival.
Game tickets and full weekend passes for the event are available here.
