LA QUINTA, Ca. (February 18, 2026) – Northwestern men's golf concluded the Prestige on Wednesday with a shared sixth-place finish. Due to high winds, the event was shortened to 36 holes, with the final standings after round two deciding the results.  Â

The Wildcats opened their week with a team score of 294 in their opening round, before shaving off 13 strokes to fire a three-under 281 in their second round. The 'Cats finished the week with a 36-hole score of 575, as Stanford claimed the team title while Oregon's Aiden Krafft took medalist honors, both at five-under-par.

Senior Daniel Svärd took his fifth straight top-10 finish this week, coming in at two-under for a share of sixth place. After starting his tournament with a three-over 74, he fired back with a five-under 66 in his second round.Â

Joining Svärd in red figures in the second round was Ethan Tseng, who carded a one-under 70 to place in a share of 29th, matching his season-low finish from the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. The pairing of Rowan Sullivan and Jeremy Chen each tied for 41st, while Monty Holcombe rounded out the lineup in 66th.

At the individual tournament, Mark Gazi carded a one-under 71 in his final round to place in third, while Isaac Lee placed behind him in fourth. Lee fired back-to-back days of two-under 70 before carding a 79 in his final round.

Archie Finnie concluded his week in 34th, while Akshay Anand rounded out the individual quartet in 40th.Â
