ROSEMONT, Ill. - Ninety-seven Northwestern student-athletes earned Spring Academic All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Including the spring honorees, Northwestern saw 315 total student-athletes named to academic all-conference teams during the 2024-25 athletic year, good for the third-highest total in school history. This marks the fourth time in the last five years that more than 300 Wildcats have earned the distinction and the 15th consecutive year that Northwestern has seen at least 200 student-athletes honored.
Max Bengtsson (Men's Tennis), Jaylen Rosga (Women's Lacrosse) and Claire Snyder (Women's Lacrosse) all posted unblemished 4.0 GPA's during their seasons.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of May 1 for spring sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
