MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The 2025 Big Ten Men's Swimming & Diving Championships wrapped up on Saturday night with Northwestern setting another school record in the final relay race of the championships. The team of Stuart Seymour, Cade Duncan, Connor Schuster and David Gerchik placed 4th in the 400 Free Relay with a NCAA "A" cut time of 2:49.77, setting a new NU record and besting a time that had stood since 2007.

Over the course of the four-day B1G Championships, NU made 14 trips to the podium – nine individual and five relay – and saw three school records get broken (50 Free, 100 Back and 400 Free Relay). Gerchik, Diego Nosack, Seymour and Joshua Staples each earned two individual trips to the podium. NU finished in 7th place with 711 points.

Staples was named to the event's All-Freshman Team. Christopher Leung was recognized as a Big Ten Men's Swim and Dive Sportsmanship Honoree.

The event ran February 26-March 1 at the University of Minnesota's Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis. The Indiana Hoosiers were crowned champions for the fourth straight year, followed by Michigan and Ohio State.
