Northwestern Football Announces Weeks 1-3 Kick Times and TV Networks

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern football has announced its kickoff times and TV network assignments for the first three weeks of the season, highlighted by Week 2's home matchup against Duke being flexed to Friday night on Sept. 6.
 
The Wildcats season opener at the Lanny and Sharon Martin Lakeside Facility against Miami (Ohio) will kick at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Aug. 31, and air on BTN. The following week, Northwestern hosts Duke for an 8 p.m. CT tilt on Friday, Sept. 6, which will air on FS1. A 6:30 p.m. CT kick on Saturday, Sept. 14 against Eastern Illinois on BTN wraps up the season-opening three-game homestand.
 
Northwestern is coming off a successful 2023 campaign which saw the Wildcats finish 8-5 en route to a 14-7 victory over Utah in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl, the program's fifth-consecutive bowl victory. The Wildcats' seven-win improvement marked the largest by any FBS program in the nation, earning Dan & Susan Jones Family Head Football Coach David Braun consensus Big Ten Coach of the Year honors while also being named a finalist for National Coach of the Year.
