Northwestern at Maryland Selected for FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL FRIDAY

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern football's Week Seven contest at Maryland will be played at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 11, and air on FOX, as announced by the network on Wednesday afternoon. The Big Ten Conference's full 2024 early season schedule, including other Friday night games, will be released at a later date.
Announced earlier this year, FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL FRIDAY is a dedicated primetime window showcasing elite college football Friday nights on FOX throughout the fall. The new package will lead off FOX Sports' unrivaled weekend football lineup – followed by college football's most-watched window, BIG NOON SATURDAY, and the No.1 most-watched program in all of television, FOX NFL's AMERICA'S GAME OF THE WEEK.
Northwestern is coming off a successful 2023 campaign which saw the Wildcats finish 8-5 en route to a 14-7 victory over Utah in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl, the program's fifth-consecutive bowl victory. The Wildcats' seven-win improvement marked the largest by any FBS program in the nation, earning Dan & Susan Jones Family Head Football Coach David Braun consensus Big Ten Coach of the Year honors while being named a finalist for National Coach of the Year.
