MADISON, Wis. - Northwestern hits the road Sunday for a rematch with the No. 9 Wisconsin Badgers as they continue Big Ten play in Madison. The 'Cats (3-10, 1-4 B1G) will face off with the Badgers (10-4, 4-1 B1G) for the second and final time this season at 1 p.m. CT in the UW Field House.

THE MATCH-UP:
The 'Cats are 29-61 all-time against Wisconsin, dating back to their first meeting in 1978. The Badgers have won each of the last 14 against the Wildcats, with Northwestern's last victory in the series coming in 2012 in Madison. Wisconsin has been ranked in the AVCA top-10 for ten of those 14 straight wins.
Since meeting the 'Cats two weeks ago, the Badgers have gone 3-0 without dropping a single set. They rattled off sweeps of Rutgers (Oct. 2), No. 25 Washington (Oct. 6) and Maryland (Oct. 11) during that span.

Following Sunday's match, the 'Cats will return home to Welsh-Ryan Arena to host the Iowa Hawkeyes on Wednesday. The match, which will be broadcast on Big Ten Network, is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CT.
STORYLINES:
- The 'Cats have combined for 126 blocks as a team on the season so far, with seven different players contributing ten or more. With 11 blocks as a team on Thursday against the Buckeyes, Northwestern has totaled at least that many in three straight matches - all of which lasted four or less sets. Their team 2.47 blocks-per-set clip ranks tenth in the Big Ten but 60th in the NCAA. Through 13 matches in 2024, seven 'Cats have either tied or set a career high in blocks in a match - headlined by Kennedy Hill and Sophia Summers, who have both logged nine-block matches this season.
- Alexa Rousseau stands just 24 career assists shy of moving to fifth all-time in Northwestern program history. She fell just shy of her second triple-double of the season last time out, contributing nine kills, ten assists and a season-high 17 digs on Thursday against Ohio State.
- Junior Kennedy Hill enters play Sunday ranked ninth in the Big Ten and 60th in the NCAA in blocks per set, averaging 1.25 so far in 2024. Her 64 blocks across the 'Cats' first 13 matches lead the team.
