WILMETTE, Ill. –  Northwestern saw four golfers claim Top 30 finishes as the Women's Golf Team finished in fourth place at the Windy City Collegiate Classic hosted by Northwestern at Westmoreland Country Club.

Playing in a loaded 15-team field that featured nine programs ranked in the Top 20 of the inaugural WGCA Coaches Poll, No. 11 Northwestern rode a pair of strong performances in the second and third rounds to close the 54-hole tournament at 28-over-par as a team. After combining for a 16-over-par in the first round on Monday, the 'Cats stormed back with a one-under-par round later that day in round two–marking one of just three teams to shoot an under par round on the tournament.

In just her second collegiate tournament and first in the NU lineup, first-year Hsin Tai Lin paced the 'Cats' lineup with a fifth place finish at three-over-par on the tournament. Lin shot a five-under-par in the second round, tied for the second lowest round among any golfer in the tournament.

A pair of Wildcats, Dianna Lee and Ashley Yun, tied for 22nd with each shooting nine-over-par, while Lauryn Nguyen tied for 29th with a 10-over-par effort on the tournament.

No. 12 ranked Arizona State won the event by shooting 11-over-par and placing three individuals inside the top 10. No. 4 South Carolina finished second at 17-over-par, while No. 2 USC placed third at 25-over-par.  USC first-year Jasmine Koo claimed the individual title shooting five-under-par.
