Wildcats Selected to NCAA Ann Arbor Regional

EVANSTON, Ill. (April 29, 2026) – Northwestern women's golf is headed to the postseason, as the NCAA announced Wednesday the Wildcats will be competing at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional May 11-13. The 'Cats will be the No. 6 seed in the competition, competing at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Head coach Emily Fletcher and assistant coach Beth Miller will lead the Wildcats to their 16th straight NCAA Regional, dating back to the pair's second year at Northwestern during the 2009-10 season. Northwestern has advanced past the regional stage ten times under Fletcher and Miller, placing second at last season's Stanford Regional and later winning the program's first-ever national championship.
The Wildcats brought home two wins in the 2025-26 campaign, sharing medalist honors at their home tournament at the Windy City Collegiate Classic in October, while also winning the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational in February.
On the individual side, Dianna Lee secured two wins of her own, winning the stroke play competition of the East Lake Cup in October, while also making it a clean sweep for the 'Cats with a victory at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational.
The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team from each regional will advance to play at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships, May 22-27, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
