EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 18 Northwestern women's soccer aims to remain unbeaten when it opens Big Ten play at Purdue on Sunday. Kickoff from Folk Field is set for 12 p.m. CT on B1G+.
The Wildcats are unbeaten through eight games for the first time since 2018. Northwestern's 3.38 goals per game ranks first in the Big Ten and ninth nationally. The 'Cats have tallied three or more goals in seven of eight games this season. NU's 27 goals are the most through eight games in program history.
Last time out, Northwestern outlasted Virginia Tech for a 3-2 win in Blacksburg. Megan Norkett, Boade, and Hase tallied goals for the 'Cats.
Norkett and Boade tallied a goal and an assist each against the Hokies, the fourth time this season Boade has done so in a game and the first time this season for Norkett.
