THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
-
Evan Hull leads Division-I with 681 yards from scrimmage this season. Hull joins Saquon Barkley (2017) as the only players since 2000 to record 350+ rushing yards and 300+ receiving yards in their teams first four games.

The last time Northwestern opened its season with four- straight non-road games was 2016, when the Wildcats played their first four games of the year at Ryan Field (going 2-2 in that stretch).
- Northwestern is 5-14 all-time against Penn State and 2-1 in their past three meetings. Two meetings ago in 2015, Justin Jackson exploded for 188 rushing yards and two touchdowns to lead the 'Cats to a 23-21 victory.
