Rachel Lewis hit two home runs in the game, bringing her total to 14 on the season and 56 in her career, moving her past Adrienne Monka and Garland Cooper for sole possession of second place in program history and just one homer away from tying Tammy Williams for as the program's all-time home run leader. Lewis finished the game 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored.
Hitting one spot behind Lewis, Rudd picked off right where she left off last weekend going back-to-back with Lewis in the first inning to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead.
