EVANSTON, Ill. – The No. 3 Northwestern lacrosse team is set to battle No.25 Johns Hopkins at Noon this Saturday, April 16, in the regular season home finale at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium. The matchup will air on B1G+ and NU is set to honor its 10 seniors after the game.

Last Time Out
Last Sunday, the Wildcats extended their win streak to a season-best eight games by defeating San Diego State, 20-8. 11 different players scored for NU with Lauren Gilbert and Jill Girardi leading the team scoring four goals each. Northwestern also collected 20 draws to just nine for the Aztecs.

Standings Shakedown
Northwestern (12-2, 4-0 Big Ten) sits in first place of the Big Ten Conference standings with a 4-0 league record. The Wildcats can clinch at least a share of the regular season title this weekend with a win over Johns Hopkins (8-6, 0-3 Big Ten) and if Ohio State defeats Maryland on Sunday. NU is looking to claim back-to-back Big Ten regular season championships for the first time in program history.

Northwestern is 17-4 all-time against Johns Hopkins and have won eight of the last nine meetings. Last season, the Wildcats won two games against the Blue Jays in Baltimore, 17-8 and 18-9. JHU last played in Evanston in 2017, with the 'Cats winning 10-9 in overtime.
