Cincinnati, OH - Northwestern is headed to Ohio for a pair of double-headers against Cincinnati. The series opens on Friday at 12 p.m. CT with the second game of the twin bill beginning at 3 p.m.
Saturday's games will also begin at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively - the first game on both Saturday and Sunday will be a seven-inning affair.
Northwestern Baseball recorded their first win of the 2022 season, and Josh Reynolds' first win as head coach of the Wildcats, in a 10-0 victory over Santa Clara last Saturday. Sean Sullivan dominated, throwing six scoreless innings, striking out nine, allowing zero walk offs, and picking off a runner.
Sullivan was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after his performance in California and is 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA and 15 strikeouts. Ethan O'Donnell hit .500 for the serires with eight hits, three doubles and three RBIs against the Broncos.
Northwestern last matched up against Cincinnati in 2016.
