EVANSTON, Ill. – The No. 5 Northwestern lacrosse team opens up Big Ten play as part of its two games in three days stretch inside Ryan Fieldhouse, which starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, against Ohio State. The Wildcats round out the homestand by taking on Dartmouth at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 21. Both games will air on BTN+.
Last Time Out
The Wildcats (5-2, 0-0 B1G) downed No. 6 Stony Brook 16-12 on Thursday (March 10) night, picking up their third win of the year against a ranked opponent. Erin Coykendall tallied a career and game-high nine points (4g, 5a), which is the third-highest mark by a Big Ten player this year. She was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career, as NU won the award for the second week in a row (Lauren Gilbert, March 8). The 'Cats 16 goals were the most Stony Brook has allowed since Maryland posted 17 scores in the second round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
